Ken Hirata, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on January 28, 2026. Ken is survived by his beloved wife, Mira; and two sons, Kyle and Russell. Ken will also be missed by his precious pet, Sophie, his daily faithful companion. He is also survived by his brothers, David (Anne) and Don (Nancy); sister-in-law, Linda; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who will greatly miss Ken. Ken worked at UPS for over forty years and made many lifelong friends. Ken was predeceased by his parents and his brother Dennis.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Gardena Valley JCI, located at: 1964 W. 162nd Street, Gardena, California 90247. The Celebration of Life begins at 3 p.m. and refreshments will be served. Casual attire.
