A Silver Alert has been activated for Hiroji Watanabe, 81, who was last seen on April 22 at around 4 p.m. near Gardena and Hobart boulevards in Gardena.
According to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Gardena Police Department, Watanabe is 5’4”, weighs 147 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a gray hat, gray jacket, gray pants and black shoes.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
The Silver Alert program informs the public about unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
