Carol Hanako Tanaka passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 27, 2026, at the age of 92. She is survived by her husband, Masami “Sam” Tanaka; four sons, Paul Tanaka, Wayne Tanaka, John Tanaka, and Michael Tanaka; seven grandchildren; nieces, Stephanie Nakamura and Susan Brown; as well as many other extended relatives. A viewing will be held at Fukui Mortuary on May 3, 2026, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
