
The Los Angeles City Council’s Planning and Land Use Management (PLUM) Committee’s public hearing on the 4th and Central (Cold Storage) project, originally scheduled for April 14, has been postponed to Tuesday, May 12, at 2 p.m., according to the Little Tokyo Community Council.
The hearing will be held at the John Ferraro Council Chamber, Room 340, City Hall, 200 N. Spring St. (entrance on Main Street).
Those planning to attend should be aware that there are other items on the agenda and the hearing may take a few hours.
The Los Angeles Planning Commission has signed off on the project. After the PLUM hearing, the City Council is expected to take up the issue. LTCC and over 30 other organizations have expressed concern about the project’s scale, lack of affordability,and displacement impacts.
