A funeral service for Kazuko Maruyama, 91-year-old, Hiroshima, Japan-born Issei who passed away on April 10, 2026 in Torrance, will be held under the auspices of Gardena Buddhist Church BWA on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Phyllis) and Arthur Maruyama, and Helen (David) Wada; grandsons, Kevin and Kregg Maruyama, Kyle and Evan Wada; siblings, Noriko Nitta, Katsuhiro (Noriko) and Koichi (Setsuko) Kimura; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
