Mary Meriko Yamasaki, 102, a native of Los Angeles, California and resident of Montebello, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026.
She is survived by her loving family: sons, Roger (Rose) Yamasaki, Richard Yamasaki, and Robin (Angela) Yamasaki, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband George Yamasaki and her brother George Yamasaki.
A private family burial service was held at Calvary Cemetery, 4201 Whittier Blvd., Los Angeles, on March 19, 2026, officiated by Fr. Pablo Martínez.
