East West Players has issued the following announcement regarding the first previews of “Flower Drum Song” at the Aratani Theatre in Little Tokyo:
“We deeply regret to announce that our April 16 and 17 performances of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s ‘Flower Drum Song’ have been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances disrupting the production. The first preview performance will be Saturday, April 18, at 8 p.m. We apologize to our patrons and community for the inconvenience.
“As the postponement is due to a technical malfunction, EWP’s priority is to ensure the continued safety of our cast, crew, and audience. All ticket-holders for these performances will be contacted via email and phone call. Any questions for us can be sent to boxoffice@eastwestplayers.org or by calling (213) 625-7000.
