Duane Haruki Koba passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026 in Campbell, California, while on a trip to visit a relative and friends. Born October 30, 1947 in San Diego, California, he is predeceased by his parents, Haruki “Jack” and Michiko Koba. Duane is survived by his beloved wife, Sheila; son, Darren (Julie); daughter, Alyssa; sister, Ann (Mike); granddaughter, Leia; brother-in-law, Stanley Tanaka; and many other relatives.
A Celebration of Life for Duane will take place Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 11 a.m. in the Orange County Buddhist Church Social Hall (909 S. Dale Ave, Anaheim, CA 92804).
