Bando-Ryu Kyo no Kai will present its third annual Yukata Kai – Summer Japanese Dance Festival on Sunday, June 14, from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the San Fernando Valley Japanese American Community Center (SFVJACC), 12953 Branford St., Pacoima.
The event will showcase the beauty of traditional Japanese dance, with performers dressed in colorful summer yukata. Featured performers: Marisa Kosugi, Yamato Yasoyo, Kitada Kimesen,and students of Bando-Ryu Kyo no Kai.
Guests are invited to enjoy an afternoon celebrating Japanese culture, dance, and community.
Advance tickets with bento lunch are $25 for adults, $15 for children. Bento reservations must be made by Wednesday, June 3. Admission-only tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.
