PHOENIX — Arizona Buddhist Temple, 4142 W. Clarendon Ave., Phoenix, will present its annual Obon Festival on Saturday, June 6.
Dinner and pastry sale starts at 5 p.m. Chicken katsu $17; teriyaki tofu $15/bento; combo chicken and tofu plate $20/bento (call to order).
Bon dance and taiko performance start at 6:45 p.m. There wil be fun, new dances for everyone to enjoy and learn.
Obon service will be held Sunday, June 7, at 10 a.m. Guest speaker: Rev. Yukari Torii from San Fernando Valley Buddhist Temple.
