The Little Tokyo Service Center released the following statement on June 22:

“LTSC is devastated by the significant fire that is continuing to impact Boyle Heights.

“A smoke advisory remains in effect for the area. Individuals who are sensitive to smoke should continue to monitor air quality conditions through AQMD and avoid unnecessary outdoor exposure when air quality is poor. Community members can find updates through the Los Angeles Fire Department and lacounty.gov/emergency for impacted residents.

“If community members, especially Japanese-speaking and Korean-speaking residents of Boyle Heights, are having difficulty navigating public resources, they can call our Social Services team at (213) 473-3035 or fill our online inquiry form by scanning the QR code.”
