A funeral service for Takashi Oda, 98-year-old, Santa Maria, Calif.-born Kibei Nisei who passed away on May 14, 2026 in Torrance, will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Zenshuji Soto Mission, 123 S. Hewitt St., Los Angeles.
He is survived by his wife, Suzuko Oda; sons, Alan (Donna) and Paul (Sharon) Oda; grandchildren, Andrew, Peter, Lauren Oda, and Kristin (Connor) Kobayashi; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
