A celebration of life service was held on June 30 for Samuel Kenji Kawamura. He passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, at Pomona Valley Hospital. Born in Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii on January 11, 1943 and was the fourth of five children to parents, Masato and Beatrice Kawamura. He moved to the West Coast and settled in the Los Angeles area over 60 years ago. He is survived by wife, Joanne; son, Gregg (Janet); daughter, Robyn (Roswell) Imperio; two grandsons, and other relatives.
