Yuko Hosaka (92), beloved mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026.
Born in Saga Prefecture, Japan, Yuko grew up in the beautiful port city of Sasebo, Nagasaki. She married Teruo Hosaka and came to the United States, where they raised their daughters, Yumi Hosaka Clark (John) and Emi Hosaka Chu (Remy).
Yuko devoted her life to her family and was known for her wonderful cooking and love of Japanese traditions. She was especially proud of her four grandchildren, Daniel, Ellie, Nathan, and Sara.
A private family service was held in her memory at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
