The Tsukemono Festival will take place on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Oxnard Buddhist Temple, 250 S. H St., Oxnard.
10 a.m.: Drop off entries/open registration
11 a.m.: Event starts, food vendors open
1 p.m.: Voting closes
Entrants are asked to bring at least a 24-oz. jar or 100 pieces of tsukemono. No entry fee.
