
LAPD Central Division is asking the public for information regarding a stabbing at Prime Pizza in Little Tokyo on Sept. 8 around 5:20 p.m.
LAPD posted the following account from Code Three News on X: “LAPD officers are on scene investigating yet another stabbing, just occurred at Prime Pizza in the 100 block of South Central Avenue. Two RAs (rescue ambulances) have been requested for a male and female victim.
“The suspect reportedly got into a confrontation with store employees before attacking two customers who were seated in the outdoor patio area.
“The suspect, who appeared to be a white male transient, was just taken into custody.”
Beefy News reported that the victims suffered slash/stab wounds to the head and arms/hands, and that their conditions have not been released.
Prime Pizza, located between First and Second streets, remained closed for the rest of the day.
