Shop for a great cause and join the Friends of the Japanese American National Museum for the 18th annual Kokoro Craft Show, featuring over 50 local vendors, on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple (Nishi Betsuin), 815 E. First St. in Little Tokyo.

Kokoro is a Japanese word meaning heart, mind, and spirit. For artisans who handcraft or design, kokoro is essential for capturing their passion as they create their art.

To support the Japanese American community and its many independent artists, the Friends of the Japanese American National Museum invites these artisans to participate in the craft show. Over the years, they have been able to make sizable donations that support JANM’s many educational, cultural, and volunteer programs.

Free admission. Parking on-site: $10 (exact change).
