At the last Far East Feast in May, “Chinameshi” dishes from the menu of the Far East Cafe in Little Tokyo were served.

The Grateful Crane Ensemble and Chef John Nishio will present the Far East Feast on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Nishio residence, 645 Rim Rd., Pasadena.

The event offers good old Cantonese-style “Chinameshi” dishes such as pressed almond duck, homyu, pakkai, chow mein, chashu, ginger beef, shrimp with lobster sauce, and more. Nishio has re-created all the family favorites from the Far East Cafe in Little Tokyo.

Along with the eight-course dinner, Grateful Crane’s singers will be on hand to perform nostalgic songs from the ’60s and ’70s.

Tickets are $125 per person. Seating is limited to 20 people. To reserve seats, email Soji Kashiwagi at soji1062@gmail.com.

Proceeds to benefit Grateful Crane and the Fukushima
