A funeral service for Fern Teruyo Shigaki, 87-year-old, Cushing, Okla.-born Kibei, who passed away on Sept. 3 in Lomita will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Inglewood Park Cemetery Grace Chapel, 720 E. Florence Ave., Inglewood with Rev. Ron Kato from Toho No Hikari of Los Angeles officiating.

She is survived by her children, Eileen Keiko Higa and Janice (Vip) Miyashiro; grandchildren, Karin (Russell Ferguson) and Kevin (Julia Carnahan) Higa, Justin and Myles Miyashiro; great granddaughter, Rose Keiko Higa; siblings, Mie Miyake from Japan, Tom Shinmachi from New York, Ted (Helen) Shinmachi, and Yuriko (Kiyofumi) Matsuura; also survived by many nieces, neph¬ews and other relatives.
