Suzuki, Masayo “Mas” passed away Oct. 1 at the age of 89. He was born Jan. 2, 1920 in Seattle, Wash., and had been a longtime resident of Torrance. Mas is survived by his loving wife, Toyoko Suzuki; daughters, Janice Suzuki, Helen Sakamoto, and Sally (Paul) Miyagishima; grandsons, Layne and Garrett Sakamoto, Nathan and Miles Miyagishima; sister-in-law, Kiyoko Suzuki; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 10 at 3 p.m. in the Green Hills chapel. Interment will be private. Green Hills Mortuary, (310) 831-0311.
