Private graveside services for the late Asaye Sakemi, 91-year-old Culver City resident who passed away on Oct 17, were held at Inglewood Park Cemetery on Oct. 30, with Reverend Gail Nakamura Messner of West Los Angeles United Methodist Church officiating.
She is survived by her beloved brother, Kiyoshi (Itsuko) Sakemi; nieces, Carrie (Richard) Wilde, Laura Hamasaka of Washington D.C., and Vicki Hamasaka; grand-nieces Julianne Wilde; and brother-in-law, Paul Hamasaka; and other relatives.
