A funeral service for Kamado Nakada, 106-year-old, Okinawa, Japan-born Issei, who passed away on Nov. 11 in Gardena will be held on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 1 p.m. at the Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes with Rev. Shunji Mizoguchi from LA Holiness Church officiating. The family requests casual attire.

She is survived by her children, Doris Misao Higa, Elsie Katsue Nakata, Grace Hideko (Nat) Peshkin, James Sadao (Eleanor) Nakada; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Hirotada Toyama from Maui, Hawaii; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
