Private funeral services for the late Richard Kazuo Atagi, 82-year-old, Stockton, Calif.-born Nisei resident of Hacienda Heights and proud veteran of the United States Army who passed away on Nov. 1, were held at Mountain View Cemetery “Sun¬rise Chapel”, officiated by Rev. Lee Rosenthal of Pasadena Buddhist Temple. Beloved father of Keith Kazumi (Emiko) Atagi and Laurie Atagi (Keith) Hall; grandfather of Kazuki and Yousuke Atagi; brother of June Seo, Merry (Lou) Nakagawa and Dolly (Yosh) Miya, all of Utah, Virginia (Tom) Fujishin, and Betty (Art) Fuji¬naka of Hawaii. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
