Vista, Calif.—Etsuko Ito passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 28 at Scripps Encinitas Hospital. She was born in Los Angeles, Calif. and raised in Japan in the Mie prefecture in the town of Tomida. She had previously lived in Encinitas where she worked in the family flower growing business with her husband Miyuki and then moved to Vista when they retired. She was a member of the Vista Buddhist Church and a member of Seicho-No-Ie. She was preceded in death by her husband Miyuki Ito. She is survived by her daughters, Yoko Kanbayashi and Mitzi Brick (Bill); son, Douglas (Donna); grandchildren, Lindsay, Jeffrey and Andy Meek; Kristen, Collin and Connor Ito. Memorial services will be held in the Vista Buddhist Temple , 150 Cedar Rd. ,Vista, Calif. on Dec. 19 at 10 a.m.
