Passed away July 1 at the age of 83. She was born Sept. 12, 1926 in
Los Angeles, and had been a longtime resident of Gardena. Mrs. Minobe
is survived by her children, Randy (Peggy) Minobe, Denise Minobe, and
Tammie Hedland; four grandchildren; and sisters, Ayako Uyeno and
