Robert Masao Nakamura, son of Gongoro and Yone Nakamura, passed away
peacefully on July 6, at the age of 74. He was born and raised in Los
Angeles. He earned a PhD from the University of Southern California.
Bob was on the faculty at USC School of Medicine, then moved to Las
Vegas after his retirement. He was preceded in death by his daughter,
Jennifer, and his brother, Arthur Akira. He is survived by his
daughters, Stephanie Nakamura and Alison (Jay) Booth, sister Anita
Mitsuko Sankey, step-brother Hisahiro Nakatsumi and nephews and
nieces. Per request of the deceased, no funeral service will be held.
