Private funeral service for the late Mrs. Kiyo Umeda, an 88-year-old, Santa Clara,
Calif.-born Nisei resident of Alhambra who passed away on Oct. 11 was held at Fukui
Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden” officiated by Rev. Mark Nakagawa of Centenary United
Methodist Church.
Mrs. Umeda is survived by her sons, Steven (Keiko), Dennis (Kim Ernst) and Michael
(Deborah Louie) Umeda; grandchildren, Lori (Robert) Roth, Kevin (Cheryl), Colin and
Trevor Umeda; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jordan and Dylan Roth. Also survived by
many other relatives.
