Funeral service for the late Richard Shiro Mayeda, 89-year-old, Terminal Island born
resident of Gardena, member of the Nanka Wakayama Kenjinkai, who passed away on Nov.
6, 2010, will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, 1 p.m. at Gardena Buddhist Church,
1517 W. 166th St., Gardena, Calif.
Richard is survived by loving wife, Yasue Mayeda; daughters, Frances Yoshie Mayeda
and Arlene Masue Mayeda of Washington, DC; grandson, Kenneth Tenshin Lem-Mayeda; and
sister, Kimiko (Ichiro) Ishibashi. Richard is also survived by many other family
members here and in Japan.
