A public viewing for the late Mrs. Frances Yasuko Yamamoto, a 72 year-old, California-born Nisei resident of Los Angeles and former Poston Relocation Camp internee who passed away on March 17 will be held on Thursday, March 24, 5 to 9 p.m. at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90012. A “Celebration of Life” Luncheon will be held on Saturday, March 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at NBC Seafood, 404 S. Atlantic Blvd., Monterey Park, CA 91754. Mrs. Yamamoto was predeceased by her beloved husband Fumio Yamamoto. She is survived by her son, Douglas Yoshifumi (Diane); daughters, Tracy Chieko (Andrew) Radle and Denise Miyeko (Gary) Lai; grandsons, Ryan and Kyle; granddaughters, Rebecca and Sarah Radle; brother, Stephen Hara; sister, Elinor (Paul) Hiro. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
