Funeral services for the late Kazuho Takaki, 82-year-old, born in Newell, California, resident of Torrance, who passed away on October 13, 2026, will be held Friday, November 13, 10 a.m. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. 1st St., Los Angeles, Calif.
He survived by his wife, Amy Takaki; children, Bryan Kenichi (Michelle Soung) Takaki, Alison Harumi (Josh Carl) Smith; grandchildren, Caleb Kenichi and Holly Kiko Smith, and Nick Minh Takaki; siblings, Joanne Nobuko Takaki and Carolyne Sumiye Shindler; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers or koden, the family requests donations be made to American Diabetes Association in Kazuho Takaki’s memory.
