Funeral service for the late Koji Mike Kuwada, 93-year old Lodi-born resident of Los Angeles who passed away on March 15, 2011, was held on March 26, 2011 at Fukui Mortuary, “Chapel in the Garden” with Bishop Emeritus Taisen Miyata of Koyasan Buddhist Temple officiating.
He is survived by his beloved wife, June Kuwada; son, Kevin (Mary) Kuwada; granddaughter, Kylie Kuwada; nephew, Edward Akira Kuwada; grandnieces, Ellen Uyemori and Margie Shintani; great-grandnephews, Jonathan and Derek Uyemori, Christopher and Mike Shintani; also survived by other relatives.
