Funeral service for the late Shigeru Imai, 88 year old Wailuku, Hawaii born resident of Torrance, who passed away on March 15, 2011 will be held on Friday Mar. 25, 2011, 6 p.m. at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena, CA.
Shigeru is survived by his loving wife Tsuneyo “Jackie” Imai; daughter, Lynn (Robert) Starks; son, Clyde Imai of Maui, Hawaii.; grandsons, Stephen and Corey Imai of Maui, Hawaii.; siblings, Yoshiyuki (Haruye) Imai, and Yoshiko Fujiwara both of Wailuku Maui, Miyoko Hamaguchi and Hideto Imai, both of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Noboru Imai of Atlanta GA. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
