Sue “Susie” Kato, born in North Platte, Neb., to parents, Yaichi and Toyo Ogata, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side. She is predeceased by her loving husband Minori Kato; and survived by her daughter Marsha (Steven) Waldroff; grandsons, Andrei & Max; and many loving siblings, family and friends. She was a Veteran serving her country faithfully in the Women’s Army Corp (WAC). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at Green Hills Mortuary & Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275 w/Pastor Rodney Tanaka officiating. Family requests no flowers.
