Funeral service for the late Mrs. Elsie Setsuko Kurata, an 85-year-old, Denair, Calif.-born Nisei resident of Los Angeles who peacefully passed away on June 14, will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St., Los Angeles, CA. The family requests casual attire for the service.
Mrs. Kurata is survived by her husband, Shigeyuki Jim; siblings, Calvin (Carol) and Edna Furukawa, both of California, and Adel Furukawa of Texas. Also survived by many other relatives.
