Robert “Bob” Hisamoto, 62 years old, born on July 15, 1948, passed on June 29, 2011. Robert was raised in Gardena, Calif. He joined the Army at the age 18 and was awarded the Bronze Star medal while serving in the Vietnam War.
Robert passed away surrounded by his wife, Myriam; daughter, Claudia; grandchildren, Ruby and Krystal; siblings; and close family friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother and mother. Robert will be missed but his memory will live on through his loved ones.
A service will be held on Wednesday, July 13 at Guerra Gutierrez Mortuary, 5245 Pomona Blvd., Los Angeles. Burial follows at 2:15 p.m., Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, Calif. 92518, with full military honors.
