He is survived by his sons, Richard Kaoru (Debrah) and Rex Toru (Cherry) Miyake; grandchildren, Christopher, Alyssa, Bryan and Mia Miyake; sister, Toyoko (Masakatsu) Moko of Japan; sister-in-law, Toshiko Senmaru of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in U.S. and Japan.
