A funeral service for Kiyoko Kitagawa, 87 years old, long-time resident of Oasis, Calif., who passed away of natural causes of August 24, 2011, will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the Forrest Lawn Chapel in Cathedral City, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Yeji; son, Eugene; and brothers, Hiroshi Ukegawa and Joe Ukegawa. She is survived by her sisters, Mutsuko Iwatate and Yoshi Kato; children, Joe Kitagawa, Paul Kitagawa, Patricia Enochs, Mary Ann Voorhees, Janice Schmid, Susan Kitagawa and Richard Kitagawa; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
