Funeral services for the late Mr. Peter Yoshikatsu Mayeda, a 66-year-old, Denver Colo.-born Sansei resident of Walnut, who passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 23, were held privately on Aug. 31, 2011 at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden” officiated by Rinban Noriaki Ito of Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Haruko Ruby Mayeda; children, Dina (Michael) Noguchi and Mark Mayeda; brother, Carl Mayeda. Also survived by many other relatives and his beloved pet dogs, Yoshi, Sumi, Moochi, and Katsu.
