Esther Fumiko Kumasaka at the age of 82 passed away on Nov. 5, 2011 in Huntington Beach. She is survived by her husband, Robert Kumasaka, and her children, Dean (Mercedes) Kumasaka of Seattle, Wash., Eltheia (Gerry) Shiozaki of Los Angeles, and Sara Mikiko Kumasaka of Salt Lake City, Utah; grandchildren, Wesley and Jason Shiozaki; siblings from Japan, Shoichi (Masako) Matsuda, Michiko (Eisuke) Fukushima, Misao Yanagihara, Midori (Naohide) Kohdate, and Koji (Matsue) Matsuda; sister-in-law, Yaeko Kasahara; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
