Eddie Makimoto passed away peacefully at the age of 83. Born in Lomita, Calif., he had been a long-time resident of Buena Park. Eddie was a civil engineer for the City of Orange Water Department, where he worked for over 26 years. Eddie retired in 1992. He enjoyed golf, Las Vegas and his family in his retirement. Eddie is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Akie; children, Christine (Steve) and Tod (Garci); his grandchildren Shalimar, Alex and Logan. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012, 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn, 4471 Lincoln Ave., Cypress, CA 90630.
