Beloved wife, sister, obasan, and friend Fujiko Kay Vreeland passed away peacefully on June 30 at Kaiser Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Funeral service for the 83-year-old Kagoshima-ken born L.A. resident was held on July 14 in the Chapel in the Garden at Fukui Mortuary with Rev. Kazuaki Na c kata of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
The deceased is survived by her husband Charles “Rando” E. Vreeland, sister Reiko Kawamura, nephew Hirofusa Kawamura, cousins Nina and Tyler Yeats, Taj and Toshi Becker, Omar Billawala, and many dear friends.
