George Motoyuki Takehana of Montebello, age 99 passed away on July 22.
Beloved husband of Shizuye Takehana; sons, Dr. Shigeru (Sunnie-Han) Takehana and Ralph Noboru Takehana; grandchildren, Joann (Dr. Richard Casabona) Takehana of Arizona, Katherine (Alex Perez) Takehana and Dr. Christopher Takehana; great-grandfather of 6; Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
Public funeral service will be held on Friday July 27, 10 a.m. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St, Los Angeles, California.
