A memorial service celebrating the long and loving life of Ruth Ono of Inglewood will be held Saturday, Aug. 11, at 11 a.m. at Gardena Valley Baptist Church, 1630 W. 158th St., Gardena.
Beloved mother of Margie (Marshall) Jones, Evelynne (Ron) Schwartz and Ralph Ono, she also leaves her brother Kaz Sato, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews. She joins her beloved husband Ernest in eternal rest. In lieu of flowers and koden, the family suggests a memorial donation in Ruth’s name to your church or favorite charity. Attire for the service is dressy-casual and colorful.
