Yasu Momii, 90, Seattle, Wash.-born Nisei resident of Los Angeles, passed away on Sept. 14. She was predeceased by her husband, Rikito. She is survived by her children, Rick (Patti); Judy Momii Hoy; and Randall (Staci); grandsons, Adam Samson and Davis Momii; sisters-in-law, Thelma Koyamatsu, Molly (Berkeley), Fumiko (Menlo Park), and Etsuko (Chicago); and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 961 S. Mariposa Ave., Los Angeles, with The Rev. Canon Richard Van Horn officiating under the direction of Fukui Mortuary. The family requests no flowers, please.
