A funeral service for Michiyo Nakaiye, 87-year-old, Japan-born Issei, who passed away on Dec. 15, 2012, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena, CA.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Nakaiye; siblings, Kiyonari (Sadako) Inouye and Teruko Imaishi, both of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in U.S. and Japan.
