Grammy award nominee and Hawaiian superstar Daniel Ho will be the featured entertainer at this year’s Nisei Week Hospitality Luau.

He’ll be performing on Saturday, March 16, at L.A. Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple (Nishi), 815 E. First St. in Little Tokyo.

Sponsored by the Nisei Week Hospitality Committee, the luau festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Proceeds will go to the Nisei Week Hospitality Committee, which will host the visiting courts and guests from Hawaii, San Francisco, and Seattle during the 73rd annual Nisei Week Festival in August.

Authentic Hawaiian cuisine, catered by Our Daily Bread of Gardena, will be featured. Opportunity drawing tickets are also available now and will be sold up until the evening of the event. First prize is $500 with many other prizes available.

Emcees for the evening will be actress/community friend Tamlyn Tomita and 2011 Nisei Week Queen Erika Olsen.

Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for children under 12. Corporate tables of ten are also available for $400. The Nisei Week Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so donations are tax-deductible.
