A private memorial service for the late Mr. Jack Kumeo Iwakiri, 81-year-old, White Salmon, Wash.-born Nisei resident of Glendale, who passed away on March 13, was held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden” with Pastor Gary Shiohama of South Bay Community Church officiating.
He is survived by his loving family: sons, Mark (Jodi) and John (Allison) Iwakiri; grandchildren, Kip (Amy), Breanne, Alicia and Caryn Iwakiri; siblings, Edna Chung, Leona Sanders, Ruth Green, Ilen (Emi), Harry (June), John and Ned Iwakiri; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
