Funeral service for the late Mrs. Nancy Akemi Yasuda, an 86-year-old, California-born Nisei resident of Gardena and a former internee of Poston and Crystal City relocation camps during WWII, who passed away on March 22, 2013, will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013, 1 p.m. at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena, CA 90247.
Mrs. Yasuda is survived by her children, Colleen (Kenny) Kokubun, Sandi Yorita and Craig (Carrie) Yasuda; seven grandchildren; sisters, Etsuko Morita of Japan, and Ami Yamagishi. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
