LONG BEACH — Cultural Alliance of Long Beach and Ray of Lolita Dark present the Cherry Blossom and Anime Festival on Saturday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to midnight at 737 Pine Ave., Long Beach.

The event will feature workshops, demonstrations, live entertainment, fashion shows, AMV (anime music video), karaoke and cosplay competitions, and an after-party with DJs. Free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.

12 p.m.: Opening ceremony

12:30 p.m.: Kimono demo

1 p.m.: Ondo demo

2 p.m.: Kendo demo

3 p.m.: AMV screening, Tokyo live broadcast

3:50 p.m.: Karaoke sing-off, hosted by Anton Torres

4 p.m.: Budo taijutsu demo

4:45 p.m.: Lolita Dark acoustic teaser

5:30 p.m.: Cosplay, hosted by Anton Torres

6 p.m.: Awards ceremony, hosted by Erika Mariko Olsen, 2011 Nisei Week Queen

6:30 p.m.: Fashion show by Fairytale Boutique

7:30 p.m.: Lolita Dark concert

8:30 p.m.: Stephanie Yanez concert

9 p.m.: After-party, hosted by Tune in Tokyo
