

LONG BEACH — Cultural Alliance of Long Beach and Ray of Lolita Dark present the Cherry Blossom and Anime Festival on Saturday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to midnight at 737 Pine Ave., Long Beach.
The event will feature workshops, demonstrations, live entertainment, fashion shows, AMV (anime music video), karaoke and cosplay competitions, and an after-party with DJs. Free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.

6 p.m.: Awards ceremony, hosted by Erika Mariko Olsen, 2011 Nisei Week Queen
6:30 p.m.: Fashion show by Fairytale Boutique
7:30 p.m.: Lolita Dark concert
8:30 p.m.: Stephanie Yanez concert
9 p.m.: After-party, hosted by Tune in Tokyo
