Brandon Takahashi was recently named to the Lawyers of Color’s Inaugural Hot List, which recognizes early- to mid-career attorneys under 40 who are excelling in the legal profession.

Takahashi is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Jackson Lewis LLP. His practice focuses primarily on employment litigation in both state and federal court on behalf of private sector and public entity employers.

Takahashi received his bachelor’s degree in neurobiology, physiology and behavior from UC Davis in 2001. In 2006, he earned his juries doctor from the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento.

Takahashi is admitted to practice in all state courts in California, as well as the Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern U.S. District Courts, and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Los Angeles County, and the Japanese American Bar Association.

Lawyers of Color was founded in 2008 as a news and resource center. The company has grown into a social media firm providing research, career development, and brand marketing opportunities to clients.
